A ‘Procurement’ or ‘Submittal’ schedule is a valuable tool help manage the submittal and procurement process.
Using the project manual (specifications) and ‘project schedule’ a procurement (submittal) schedule is generated that list the required submittals and target dates that each submittal should be in the process. The schedule is generated in Excel® and includes conditional formatting to aid the project team in identifying the current submittals.
